About the event
Do you miss cheese since going plant-based? Or maybe you are on your plant-based journey but just can't give up cheese?
I get it. Cheese is the ultimate comfort food. It's the basis of many of our favourite dishes - think pizza, pasta and nachos. It's also the centre of grazing boards when we entertain friends. But did you know that it contains highly addictive chemicals that make us want more? It's also high in saturated fat and sodium and promotes inflammation, which is not great for our health.
In this live online cooking class we will prepare three delicious cheeses to help you quit dairy for good!
- Cashew cheese flavoured with cranberry and thyme
- Baked smoky tofu feta (nut free)
- Creamy queso cheese dip (nut free)
We will also be making some delicious rosemary and almond crackers to complete your grazing board.
These cheeses are much lower in fat than dairy, kinder on the planet and the animals.
You are welcome to cook along! An ingredients list will be sent to you 7 days prior to the event. All recipes and a prep list will be emailed on the day.
NOTE: To make these recipes you will need a high speed blender with a 'tamper' to push the ingredients down or a food processor.
Spaces are limited for this class so be quick! It's going to be a popular one.
The class is in ACST Adelaide time. Please adjust if you live in another state or overseas.
